I led Radical Autonomy livestream practice on my Instagram page.
I will create a compilation video from the archives of that series.
Until then below you can find the raw documentation below.
This practice focuses on spine articulation
from the head through the rib cage down to the pelvic bowl.
Starting standing, then seated movement patterns inspired by Gyrokinesis ,
then to the floor, again, focusing on the spine.
Lengthening and articulating the spine keeping the skull, the shoulder girdle,
the rib cage, and the pelvic ball attached and responding -
standing, seated, and rolling around on the floor.
How can we access opening our range of movement from different levels?
Floor, chair, standing up?
Today's focus was to activate the power source deep in the viscera area/ deep core/pelvic floor, harnessing that and radiating from the naval, through the extremities of the six limbs
-initiating rolling to one side, to sitting, effortlessly.
Today’s focus was on the amazing architecture or our bones.
The physical anatomy of the skeleton.
And in the radically autonomous way we are embarking on entering the laboratory of our body, intimately, becoming deeply and somatically aware of our bones.
What stories are held in the bones what narrative might bubble up from this exploration?
How can we be in communication with the intelligence of our bones
and move from the sensation of the bones.
This is your body your practice your laboratory you are your own science experiments.
Enter the laboratory of the body with somatic practices, deep,
intimate awareness of your body, autonomously in community.
I am holding space and supporting you on your journey
to love and honor yourself in a deeper and more authentic way,
whatever that means to you.
"Mother plucker, I did a really great practice today and I’m so happy that the couple of people showed up and were able to follow it—— but I accidentally deleted the video!"
I swiped when I should have saved.
OOh well. No biggie ~
The content was a full-ish body “not work out“ ~
~patterns of movement for strengthening the thighs, calves, feet, ankles, upper body parts,
lots viscera, (core / abs),
and of course the booty.!
We show up differently every day
What is so for you today?
Differentiate, articulate, ~
note the history -story -narrative -emotion -feeling
Your practice your ritual, ~
intigrate. ~
Normalizing self care as not a big deal
tending to your needs.
How you feel is how you feel
Physically = emotionally = spiritually
Tending to yourself and your life,
like tending to a garden.
My new friend Brenda wandered into the open practice.
We discussed what the conceptural vision for radical autonomy is.
And then,
Today’s practice went over fragmented elements from the last five days, including ~
physical anatomy, sitting in the chair and some Gyrokinesis inspired practice,
release technique/hatha yoga inspired, how to get up and down off of the floor effortlessly.

What is Radical Autonomy? ( ..... it’s not yoga ..... )
What stories are held in our bodies?
This is an invitation to reclaim your body and your narrative through somatic awareness
How do the body, mind, voice, emotion, and spirit respond
to an activated awareness of our experiences?
Are the stories that circle our experience truly ours,
or have they been put upon us,
or something else?
May we embrace identity and identifiers as being parts of us while not defining us?
workshop / practice / laboratory
I invite you into a somatic laboratory of body based practice with the intention for radical autonomy of body, mind, voice, emotion, spirit…. This is your practice, mine, and ours collectively. We declare a nurturing space for individuals and communities to practice - individually, while in community - in public spaces. I invite you to accept, reclaim, reject, embrace, rewrite, celebrate, release - and any other response you choose - to the stories and narratives, and anything else that might arise.
I will guide you through various somatic laboratories including an introduction to personal anatomy, developmental movement, body system awareness, (ie~tapping into the intelligence of the physical body), developing strength and range of movement with low impact, encouraging movement from impulse and sensation, discovering one’s deeper voice, and declaring a manifesto for creating one's personal daily practice.
Questions, to book a group workshop, a public presentation, a private session
